Refund Policy

NexGenData sells structured public-data products (subscriptions and one-time datasets). Payments and refunds are processed by our merchant of record, Polar — see “Who processes refunds” below. This policy describes what actually happens.
Subscriptions (App Review Intelligence)
- 7-day refund on your first charge. If you’re not satisfied, email us within 7 days of your first subscription payment and we’ll refund it in full.
- Cancel anytime. You can cancel from your customer portal or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access to your data feed until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
- Renewals are non-refundable. Because you can cancel anytime before a renewal, charges after the first are not refundable. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
One-time products (benchmark datasets)
- Refundable if undelivered or defective. If your download link doesn’t work, the files are corrupt, or the dataset is materially not as described, email us and we’ll refund in full (and may revoke the download).
- Because these are digital data files delivered immediately, we don’t offer change-of-mind refunds once a working file has been delivered — but reach out if something’s wrong and we’ll make it right.

Who processes refunds
Polar is the merchant of record for every NexGenData purchase. We initiate approved refunds; Polar executes the actual money movement back to your payment method, and automatically returns any sales tax (VAT/GST) charged. Polar also reserves the right to issue a refund within 60 days of a purchase at its own discretion to prevent payment disputes/chargebacks, in which case any related subscription is canceled. Refund timing to your card or bank depends on your payment provider (typically 5–10 business days).
